NBA: Tyler Herro hits buzzer-beater to lift Heat over Jazz
Tyler Herro hit a 3-pointer with one foot to lift the Miami Heat to a thrilling 126-123 win over hosts Utah Jazz on Saturday night in Salt Lake City.
Herro drove the full length of the field and knocked down the off-balance game winner after Utah’s Lauri Markkanen finished the game with three free throws with 6.1 seconds remaining.
Bam Adebayo led all scorers with 32 points, eight more rebounds, and Herro finished with 29 points, nine rebounds and six assists to help the Heat end the calendar year. in a stylish way.
Markkanen and Jordan Clarkson each took three free throws in the final 14 seconds to end the game late. But Miami closed it despite no waiting period to set up a final play.
Markkanen led the Jazz with 29 points and 14 rebounds, while Clarkson scored 22 points in Utah’s fourth straight loss.

The loss came a night after the Kings knocked the Jazz by one point in Sacramento, bringing Utah’s record to 19-20, marking the first time the rebuilding team fell below 0.500 all season.
Victor Oladipo added 23 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists to elevate Miami’s record. He hit a crucial 3-pointer and made a free throw with 12 seconds left to help the Heat win the second head-to-head night for both teams.
Miami burst onto the scene with 69 points in the first half, taking a 10-point lead and a six-point lead in the first half.
Adebayo made a couple of free throws and then assisted Herro’s bucket throw to give the Heat a 79-71 lead early in the third half.
Utah responded with a 10-0 run to increase 81-79 and eventually 98-91 at the end of the third round after Malik Beasley’s 3-pointer.
Miami used 8-0 to take a 99-98 lead thanks to Adebayo’s strike with 10:40 remaining.
The teams then took turns playing hot potatoes to take the lead, with Clarkson leading 109-109 after six quick lead changes.
Herro and Adebayo teamed up to score five consecutive goals for Miami, and then Adebayo scored four in a row as the Heat took a 118-111 lead with 3:03 remaining before Utah regrouped.
