NBA: Nets lean on starters to sneak by Warriors
Royce O’Neal buried a 3-pointer lead with 28.5 seconds left, Kyrie Irving edged a 38-point performance with a pair of free-throws 14 seconds later and the Brooklyn Nets beat the Golden State Warriors 120- 116 on Sunday night in San Francisco.
With the win, Brooklyn completed two games of the season series against the Warriors.
Irving won the points duel with Stephen Curry 38-26 and got more help from his teammates as the Nets took their second straight win after the start. the trip lasted 5 matches with consecutive losses.

Draymond Green contributed 9 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists in the loss, which was Golden State’s fourth straight game at home.
