NBA: Lakers’ Anthony Davis leaves game vs Cavaliers with flu-like symptoms
Los Angeles Lakers star forward Anthony Davis left Tuesday’s game against hosts Cleveland Cavaliers for the first quarter due to flu-like symptoms.
Davis was officially eliminated in the second quarter. He finished with one point, three rebounds and two assists in eight minutes of play.
Davis was named the Western Conference Player of the Week for the week after scoring 44 points and 10 rebounds in the Lakers’ 133-129 win at Milwaukee on Friday with a scoreline. Effort 55 points, 17 pounds two nights later in a 130-119 victory in Washington.
Without Davis, The Lakers continue to lose to the Cavaliers, 116-102, won a three-game winning streak.
The Lakers (10-13) visit Toronto (December 12) on Wednesday.
