NBA: Knicks rally in fourth quarter to beat Magic
Jalen Brunson scored 25 points and Julius Randle added 22 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists as the visiting New York Knicks regrouped for a 102-98 win over the Orlando Magic on Tuesday.
Immanuel Quickley has scored 18 points for New York, who have won two in a row and five of the last eight. RJ Barrett has 15 points and Jericho Sims has 8 points and 9 rebounds.
Markelle Fultz scored 21 points for Orlando, who led for most of the game but trailed 36-29 in the fourth half. Franz Wagner had 18 points, Paolo Banchero added 16 points and eight rebounds, Wendell Carter Jr. and Moritz Wagner each scored 13 points.
Three goals ahead with 3.5 seconds remaining, the Knicks fouled Banchero instead of allowing the rookie to try to end the game with 3 pointers. After taking the first free throw, Banchero’s second attempt was saved by Randle, who had taken two free throws on the final touchline.

The Knicks have won their last three meetings with Orlando, the team leading 18-7 and holding a four-point advantage late in the first half.
Orlando extended the lead to 12 early in the second half and led 48-40 after halftime. Franz Wagner has 12 points to lead all scorers.
Randle scored 11 points in the half for the Knicks, who shot 5/19 (26.3%) from three points in the half.
Orlando maintained a single-digit lead throughout the third quarter and a 69-66 lead in the final period.
New York had been leading since 2-0 when Quickley gave the Knicks a 72-71 lead less than a minute into the fourth half.
No team can separate for long periods of time. The Knicks took a 92-91 lead thanks to Brunson’s jump with 2:26 remaining.
After Orlando regained the lead, the Knicks scored four straight points to take a 96-93 lead with 40 seconds remaining. New York sealed victory on the foul line, converting six shots in the final 7.7 seconds.
Orlando played without center Mo Bamba, who missed his second game in a row while serving a four-game suspension for playing against Minnesota on Friday.
