NBA: Bulls earn split with Raptors, Zach LaVine pours in 30
Zach LaVine scored a season-high 30 and Nikola Vucevic contributed 15 points and 13 rebounds to propel the Chicago Bulls to a 111-97 win over the Toronto Raptors on Monday night.
Chicago has earned a home-to-home game, after losing 113-104 in Toronto on Sunday.
LaVine led the Bulls’ attack, finishing 11-eat-20 from the floor while sinking 4 of 8 3-point attempts. Ayo Dosunmu (12 points), Derrick Jones Jr. (12), Goran Dragic (10) and Patrick Williams (10) also scored twice in a game where Chicago led by 21 points.

Fred VanVleet has 27 points for Toronto, while Gary Trent Jr. (19), OG Anunoby (13) and Precious Achiuwa (10) followed. Scottie Barnes was successful with six rebounds and five assists.
Bulls top scorer DeMar DeRozan ended the season with a low nine. DeRozan, who led Chicago with 20 points on Sunday night, had six rebounds and seven assists on Monday.
A three-point play from DeRozan put Chicago 56-43 ahead with 2:43 left in the second half. The Raptors responded to their biggest deficit to that point with a 10-0 run that included six points from Trent.
A LaVine basket with 1.4 seconds left ended the surge and gave the Bulls a 58-53 lead at halftime.
As it turned out, the rally had shifted to the beginning of the third quarter, which Chicago opened 10-2.
One night after allowing the Raptors to end the game 20-9, the Bulls finished off their foe. Another strong showing from the free-throw line spurred Chicago, which is 18 to 22 from the line, an 81.8 percent rate.
The Bulls have shot 80% or better away in 11 consecutive games, in line with the franchise mark set last season.
Toronto committed 15 spins while tying 22.
LaVine was back in the squad after missing Sunday’s game as the team managed his workload following off-season knee surgery.
