NBA: Bucks pour it on late to topple Kings
Giannis Antetokounmpo scored a top 35 in the game, Jrue Holiday came close to a high performance with 31 and the Milwaukee Bucks pulled out late to beat the Sacramento Kings visitors 126-113 on Wednesday night.
All five starters scored double figures as the Bucks took their third straight win in their first meeting of the season against the Kings.
Domantas Sabonis had a 23-point double, 12 rebounds for Sacramento, leading most of the way but taking a 99-98 lead with 10:27 to play on the Davion Mitchell lap.
A combination of Sabonis sent the kings down with just 109-105 with the game still 6:15, but Antetokounmpo lost on two inner rounds and two free throws, clamping down on a mix. Grayson Allen, in an eight-point run gave the home team a 12 lead and broke the open game.
Antetokounmpo shot 12 to 19 and Holiday 12 to 23 in the second game of this season with both scoring at least 30 points. Both players have 34 points in their home win over the Atlanta Hawks in October.

Brook Lopez (17 points with the highest 9 rebounds of the team), Kris Middleton (14) and Allen (10) also scored double for Milwaukee, the team playing the only home game in the 4/5th half on the road.
All five starters hit two 3-pointers each, as did sub-pat Pat Connaughton, as the Bucks shot 14 to 33 from outside the arc and overcame the visitors 42-36 from deep.
Sabonis made nine of his 11 shots and also had time to overtake Antetokounmpo to claim the top assist title of the game with seven.
Harrison Barnes backed Sabonis with 20 points for Sacramento, while Malik Monk added 16, De’Aaron Fox and Keegan Murray each added 15 and Kevin Huerter scored 13.
Murray and Huerter each made three 3-pointers.
The Kings saw a three-game winning streak come to an end despite hitting a 47.3% shot rate, roughly the same as the Bucks’ 47.9% rate.
