NatWest has announced that it will close 43 branches across the UK.
The Bank says it is reducing its presence on Britain’s high-streets to cut costs and as a result more customers are turning to online banking.
A NatWest spokesperson said: “As with many other industries, most of our customers are transitioning to online and mobile banking, as people manage their financial lives faster. and easier.”
