National Museum of Racing Hosts celebrates the event at the horse sanctuary

National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame Celebrating Horse Sanctuary: Saratoga .’s Thoroughbred Care HomeSaturday, June 18. Free event presented by Museum, Saratoga’s Therapeutic Horse, Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation and Old Friends at Cabin Creek.
The event will feature a variety of activities, including:
- Horse Residents from Saratoga’s Therapeutic Horses and Protests
- Presentation from Mastery Retirement Foundation
- Saratoga’s Maddy Zanetti Impressions will be reading at 11:30 a.m. with pony Upset, who will be participating all day.
- Renowned equine artist Greg Montgomery, who has produced artwork in association with Saratoga’s Travers S. since 1986, will discuss the inspirations behind the 2022 poster – the 37th edition in the hit series. hours – and sign copies between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. The posters will be available for purchase through the Museum’s gift shop for $50 each.
- Old Friends at Cabin Creek will present their mission and organization at 2pm
- The Museum’s featured film, What It Takes: Journey to the Hall of Fame, will be shown every half hour.
- New York purebred breeders will be at a booth to discuss their mission and organization.
- The National Museum of Racing and the Hall of Fame will host a children’s activity inside the Museum.
- Saratoga Springs Police Department will appear with King Tut police horse.
- Meet the therapy dog Max
- A silent auction to benefit participating organizations
