Nagaland’s Temjen Imna Along’s Message For People Littering On Roads
Temjen Imna Along, a Nagaland politician, is known for his great sense of humor and amusing social media captions. He regularly updates his fans and followers with important life tips, personal life and beauty of his status. This time, however, the politician shared a strong message about littering on the streets and its harm to the environment.
Mr Along posted a notice in response to a user’s tweet. In the tweet, user Vinay Sharma sarcastically mentioned that humans are busy dirtying famous hill stations in North India like Delhi. “Kuch mahine pehle @AlongImna login ko kohima visit k liye bula rahe the maine bola sir, please show karo hum log ko abhi hum log busy hain Shimla Manali kasol McLeod ko Delhi banane mein jaise hi yahan se free honge swayam aa jaayenge Northeast (A few months ago, @AlongImna invited everyone to visit Kohima. However, I told him not to invite us as we are busy moving Shimla, Manali, Kasol, McLeod to Delhi. After finishing work here, we will go to the northeast),” he said in his post.
Mr Sharma also posted a photo of glass bottles being thrown on the street, with shards of glass and debris strewn all over the place.
Responding similarly, Mr Along said: “Ayalee! That sucks. Don’t do this.” You have spoiled the meaning of Atithi Devo Bhava “Drinking and throwing scrap bottles is harmful to health & the environment!!”
