Firmament, the upcoming puzzle adventure game from the studio behind Myst, Riven and kidnapfinally has a release date and only a month to go.
The game launches on PC and Mac on May 18, and will come to PlayStation and PS VR2 at a later date. Firmament was originally funded through Kickstarter and was the first tease back in March 2018. It takes the player into a mysterious steampunk world consisting of three abandoned realms filled with secrets to uncover, such as strange giant machines. Aiding you along the way is The Adjunct, a silent companion, as well as a strange spirit whose story needs unraveling. Firmament also supports playing VR on PC, so players can use a variety of headsets, including Valve’s Index, HTC Vive, as well as Oculus headsets like the Rift and Quest 2.
