Pant, who was unconscious for several minutes before some locals took him to a nearby hospital, also thanked the two young men – Rajat and Nishu – for their timely help.

Before that, on December 30 trousers25 years old, suffered multiple injuries when his car collided with the divider and caught fire on the Delhi-Dehradun highway.
Pant was initially taken to Saksham Hospital’s General and Trauma Center, before being admitted to Max Hospital, Dehradun. He was on his way from New Delhi to his hometown Roorkee and was driving his Mercedes alone.

Pant’s return to competitive cricket in the near future looks as uncertain as it used to be BCCI chief Sourav Ganguly make it clear that he will miss the upcoming event IPL 2023.
“Rishabh Pant will not be available for the IPL,” Ganguly, who is about to join the Delhi Capitals as director of cricket, is quoted by Sports Today broadcaster.
“It will be a great IPL (for the team), we will play well but Rishabh Pant’s injury will affect the Capital Delhi,” said Ganguly.
