Munnings Filly takes in $1.6 million from best show at OBS

A filly by Munnings (hip 1174) joined the seven-figure club at OBS when he sold Larry Best for $1.6 million. Bloodstock employee Christina Jelm signed the ticket on the chestnut, who has long worked in : 9 4/5 last week. The company was among the multi-stakes winners Tensas Harbor (Private Oath) and was purchased by Woods’s Quarter Pole Enterprises pinhooking partnership for $250,000 during last September’s Keeneland sale. . She was the fifth seven-figure minor of the four-day auction, having surpassed the previous record total in Tuesday’s session on Thursday.
