A decomposing body of a 53-year-old woman was found in a plastic bag in the Lalbhaug area, police announced Wednesday. Police further informed that the dead woman’s 22-year-old daughter had been detained for questioning.
“The decomposed body of a 53-year-old woman was found in a plastic bag in the Lalbhaug area. The dead woman’s 22-year-old daughter has been detained for questioning,” DCP Pravin Mundhe said. .
The police seized the body and sent it to an autopsy.
An investigation is underway and details are awaited.
