Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord finally lets you battle banners ahead of version 1.0 release this month



Developers create historical battle simulator Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord It has been revealed that your little medieval killers will soon be able to officially bring the banner into the final battle. TaleWorlds Entertainment has shared details of what’s coming in the game ahead of its October 25 release, along with what’s to come after that. That includes the possibility of DLC continuing to go down.

While banners have been used in Bannerlord’s code for years, this is the first time they’ve officially been activated for combat. You can already learn about modifications in your own flag and shield designs for the ages, as Sin noted not long after the game went into early access. TaleWorlds Speak The new banners will be equippable items that benefit the squad that the player and the AI ​​heroes lead in battle. Along with the banners, you’ll also have the option of using new crafting pieces with fabric attachments to give your weapon a sweet vibe with the Claire Accessories.

Other changes coming soon include an overhaul of Bannerlord’s AI movement system, so you’ll see fewer crashes as NPCs tackle sieges with a little more grace. TaleWorlds says that this is partly due to an improvement in manners, believe it or not, as units are now waiting for others to get ahead of them. There will also be new narration for the story and story greetings, along with more and updated, facial expressions. The developers are also working on improving the world map and making each town in the game unique.

Bannerlord has had early access for two years and TaleWorlds announced back in August, it will launch later this month. Many additions to the game are planned for post-release, some of which have already been shared by the developers. Players will eventually be able to start with a small group to attack siege engines and push ladders away from city walls even if enemies climb on them. In the end, you’ll have to either retire battle-weary characters to benefit the next generation or end your clan entirely.

Steam Workshop support and a playback editor are also coming soon. TaleWorlds added that while they are opening DLC ​​for Mount & Blade 2 in the future, it will be “some time” until that happens. They also clarified that any future DLC that will be developed alongside the original game, will continue to receive updates.
