The mother of a missing student nurse expressed her emotion when providing the information, when police released CCTV images.

Owami Davies, 24, has been missing since 4 July after she left the family home in Grays, Essex.

She was last seen on Derby Road in West Croydon, South London on July 7, and almost a month after she went missing, her mother, Nicol Davies, said “it’s clear that someone out there has seen something. there”.

Ms Davies, a mother of three, added that her daughter was “really happy” and was about two months away from her nursing course, with a secure job at Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospitals.

She added that Ms Davies had worked at A&E during the pandemic and that the family had planned to go to Spain and Disneyland Paris for the holidays.

The Metropolitan Police have released new images of the night Ms Davies was last seen in a shop and her CCTV in Derby Road.

Investigators are trying to speak to the driver of a white van parked on the street.

Police said Ms Davies was with a man and crossed the street as soon as the truck stopped, adding the driver would have a “good chance” of seeing both of them.

A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder at an address in South Croydon remains in custody and two other men, aged 27 and 23, have been arrested in the Croydon area on the same charges.
