Mo’Nique and Lee Daniels modify the stage after 13 years

After 13 years of not speaking, Lee Daniels and Monique made up on stage on Staten Island on Friday!

Yes # Roommates, you read that right! The pair took to the stage and Lee Daniels took the time to publicly apologize to Mo’Nique.

But the good news doesn’t end there! Based on DeadlineMo’Nique and Lee Daniels Don’t Just End’Precious‘feud, but they will team up together on Netflix thriller’Demon house. ‘

Mo’Nique worked with Lee for the last time on the 2009 film’Precious,’ where she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She is set to replace Octavia Spencer as a social worker helping a family through a series of exorcisms. Then Octavia had to drop out of school due to scheduling conflicts.

You may recall in 2019, when Mo’Nique accused Oprah and Lee Daniels of being the reason she got black polish from industry. Mo’Nique insists it’s because she’s not in the awards season promotion for the film, which Mo says isn’t included in her contract. Lee Daniels, Oprah and Tyler Perry have always denied blackmailing her, but it’s worth mentioning that we haven’t seen the Mo’Nique star join any major TV or movie projects since. Mo has also stated that Tyler Perry does not support her publicly, although she alleges that he has privately told her that she is not wrong.

‘Demon House’ follows multiple exorcisms that occurred to Latoya Ammons and her three children in Gary, Indiana circa 2011. Mo’Nique will join stars Andra Day, Glenn Close, Rob Morgan, Caleb McLaughlin and Aunjanue Ellis. Are roommates looking forward to watching Netflix horror movies?
