The competition heats up in season 5, introducing popular wrestling stars as WWE superstars join a packed content roadmap that includes new Multiplayer maps and modes, the ultimate Zombies story mission, the return of Atlas Superstore, and more in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone.

Multiplayer Mode Overview
New 6v6 core map, cel shaded variants
Bait (launcher): Take on the Sunshine State by deploying at the dock on this mid-sized map with poolside tiki floats and a central boathouse.
Courtyard (launch): Destroy your enemies in this small shaded map set in a junkyard in the Sonoran Desert.
New variations: At launch, play the new cel-shaded map variants Toonoxide (Rust) and Celship (Shipment). In mid-season, battle through the bold outlines of Ink House (Stash House).
Slam Deathmatch and other new modes
Slam Deathmatch (in season): Earn points by knocking out and then eliminating opponents with Finishers during the WWI SummerSlam event. All Finishers will be random WWE Finishers.
COD Warrior (launch): Compete 2v2v2 in a series of quick, randomized mini-games. Each round won awards one point, and the first team to reach five points wins. Adapt quickly: with 15 mini-games in total, you never know what’s coming next.
Arcade Playlist (seasonal): Power up with new abilities including increased jump height, Ground Slam and Forcefield while fighting for ownership of five new power weapons like the Sledgehammer with enhanced knockback and the Akimbo Dragon’s Breath pistol.

Final Story Quest (Mid-Season)
Face the ultimate challenge and confront the Entity in a new area of the Dark Aether. Avoid the mobs by using the Aetherium launcher to fly into the air and survive the climactic final boss battle to unlock the cutscene and obtain the first piece needed to access the new Dark Aether Rift.
New Dark Aether Rift, Schematic (mid-season)
Be on the lookout for clues to unlock the fascinating and dangerous Dark Aether Rift. Earn powerful new rewards including permanent unlocks for completing the dangerous challenges within. Discover three new Schematics to aid you along the way:
Disciple’s bottle: Summon a friendly Disciple to wreak havoc on your enemies.
Grenade Strap: Add damage and tactical equipment over time, allowing you to constantly attack enemies.
Increase reserves: Increases the number of items in your inventory by 30.

POI Supermarket (launch)
The iconic Atlas Supermarket is coming to Urzikstan. Located south of the Orlov Military Base, the Supermarket has all your shopping needs covered, whether it’s new weapons, perks, armor plates, or other useful items. Prepare to battle your way through the aisles as other teams search for the same items.
New modes, features, and public events
Supreme Resurgence (mid-season): Deploy to Rebirth Island filled with special ground loot including meta-inspired Weapon Blueprints and other changes to the Resurgence formula. Win your first match to unlock new weapon camouflages.
Bonus Contest (launch): When this public event is activated in Resurgence, each team will be awarded a Bounty Contract. Survive the objective on your back and earn money for each bounty completion.
Drone Redeployment (launch): Redeploy your way with the mobile RDB Field Upgrade. Throw a line to your entire team and reposition quickly.
Elite Contract (mid-season): Search Elite Contracts to earn bonus rewards including an elite cache that offers one of the following: Foresight Killstreak, multiple Modded Weapons, Expert Perk Packs, or Advanced UAVs.
Reconnaissance flight (mid-season): In two waves, a squadron of advanced UAVs will mark scanned Operators as red arrows on the player’s map. Prepare for the upcoming battle.

Superstars Cody Rhodes “The American Nightmare” and Rey Mysterio “The Ultimate Underdog” join the new Tracer Pack, along with other Shop products like Tracer Pack: Toon Force 141; take down enemies in comic book style.
Season 5 premieres July 24
Expect more content throughout the season, like six new Aftermarket Attachments and four new weapons, including a new SMG and assault rifle, along with a spear and compound bow. Compete in new Ranked Play challenges across Multiplayer and Call of Duty: Warzone, disrupt enemy electronics with EMP Grenades, and progress through the Battle Pass with highlights like Skins for Rhea Ripley AKA “Mami” and Ivan Alexxeve, leader of the Konni Group.
