U.S. stock futures were mixed at the start of the fourth quarter, with investors bracing for more volatility in the final three months of the year.
S&P 500 index futures rose 0.1% on Monday. US Stocks Friday falls, ending a week, month and quarter losses. Contracts on the tech-focused Nasdaq-100 fell 0.3% and futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.4%.
