Missing radioactive capsule found in Australian outback after huge search | World News

A radioactive capsule that fell out of a truck in the Australian outback – triggering a radiation alert and a search hundreds of miles down the road – has been found.
Western Australia’s emergency services minister confirmed the cesium-137 emitting silver capsule, had been located.
Authorities have engaged in a needle-like manhunt in a haystack for the 6mm x 8mm capsule and are slowly returning to the truck’s 870-mile route using radiation scanning equipment.
