What they say… ‘Kirk fights tonight’
Vikings defender, Kirk Cousins: “I think being slowed early, we might have to throw a little more often than we’d like, and not be as balanced as we’d like.
“Part of the challenge was we weren’t on the pitch, we weren’t running enough games, and so those early wins wasn’t how we wanted to start.
“I think their defense deserves credit. They did a good job with quickness and coverage, and this combination made it difficult for us.”
Vikings head coach, Kevin O’Connell: “I think Kirk [Cousins] fight tonight.
“I put him on some tough spots and I think our overall attacking philosophy, when we don’t succeed in triggering those things, it puts a lot of pressure on the back four. , and that’s where I again put this 100% me.”
