“Honestly, it was one of the best experiences of my life,” says Ever V/Mini V Magazine about shooting Peter Pan & Wendy. “It was an eight-month shoot and I loved every minute of it. Alex [Molony] and I met when we were 12, then filming was postponed for a year due to the pandemic, so it was wild to watch each other grow from children to teenagers. Alex lowered his voice, I grew three inches taller, and we weren’t kids anymore. [were] three years ago!”

When asked if she had any doubts about taking on the lead role for a feature film like this, Ever said that “the only thing I doubt is that I’ve grown three inches since being cast for the show. to the first day of filming. I had a great growth before filming, [so] I was worried Disney might think I’m too old to play Wendy [but], thankfully, they don’t mind that at all. I’m so excited to be playing one of my childhood heroes. I’ve always loved Wendy Darling growing up, so having the opportunity to play her was a dream come true. We had two months of intense training between fencing lessons and all the wire training for flying. It’s all very exciting for me and it’s easy to invest all of myself in it.”
