Mila Schön appoints creative director Marc Audibet in big investment plan


The famous fashion house of Milan Mila Schon has appointed Marc Audibet as the new creative director in a major investment to relaunch the brand.

France-born Audibet will launch her debut collection for Mila Schön in February during the next Milan women’s ready-to-wear catwalk season.

Experienced 67-year-old Audibet started his career at Nino Cerruti back in 1975, before holding a variety of positions as creative director or freelance stylist for homes like biagiotti, Balmain, Trussardi, HermesMaison Vionnet, Trussardi and Madame Grès.

His appointment is an important part of the “new strategic plan” for Mila Schön, where a group of Italian investors led by Barbara Gabarrini Confalonieri and Guido Formilli Fendiare joining forces with Itochu, Japanese trading company. Itochu first gained control of Mila Schön in 1995 before selling its shares later.
