Migrant labourer shot dead in J&K’s Bandipora | India News
NEW DELHI: A migrant workers shot dead in Jammu & Kashmir’s Bandipora county on Thursday and Friday nights.
A Bihar worker was fired by terrorists at Soadnara Sumbal in J&K’s Bandipora district on Thursday and Friday nights, after which he suffered his injuries, police said.
The deceased worker, from Madhepura in Bihar, has been identified as Mohd Amrez.
“During the night of intervention, terrorists shot and wounded a worker outside Mohd Amrez, S/O Mohd Jalil, R/O Madhepura Besarh, Bihar at Soadnara Sumbal, Bandipora. He was transferred to hospital for treatment when he was invincible,” Kashmir tweeted the Regional Police on Friday morning.
The killing came a day after three service members lost their lives in a gunfight after two terrorists attempted to carry out a suicide bombing in Rajouri. Both terrorists were killed during the operation.
