Migrant Labourer Shot Dead In Jammu And Kashmir
Srinagar:
A migrant worker from Bihar has been shot dead by terrorists in Jammu and Bandipore of Kashmir, police said today.
The attack took place around midnight at Soadnara Sumbal in Bandipore.
After being shot, Mohd Amrez, a resident of Bihar’s Madhepura, was taken to a hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
“During the night of intervention, terrorists shot and wounded a migrant worker Mohd Amrez, r/o Madhepura, Besarh, Bihar at Soadnara Sumbal, Bandipora. He was transported to hospital for treatment when he can’t stand it,” the Kashmir Region police tweeted.

This comes a day after four soldiers were killed in action and one wounded in an attack on an army camp in Jammu and Rajouri of Kashmir.
The military said: “Subedar Rajendra Prasad, Rifleman Manoj Kumar, Rifleman Lakshmanan D and Rifleman Nishant Malik, made supreme sacrifices while neutralizing 2 terrorists. in a release yesterday.
Last week, Mohammad Mumtaz, a migrant worker from Bihar, was killed and two others injured in a terrorist attack in Pulwama.
The wounded, Mohammad Arif and Mohammad Maqbool, were also from Bihar.
