Microsoft Updates Xbox Consoles With This New Discord Feature: What It Is

Microsoft updated Xbox The console features a new communication feature that allows users to play with their friends across multiple platforms and communities. The tech giant has updated its official blog post to reveal a new Xbox update that will allow Discord voice Features for Xbox Series X console | S and Xbox One. Previously, in July, the company announced a partnership with Discord for the first time, made to “simplify the audio experience” for Xbox console users.

What is the Discord Voice feature?
Discord is a platform that allows users to communicate through private or public chats and is compatible with major operating systems and web browsers. The Discord Voice feature allows users to chat with other Discord members via voice channels or group calls directly from the console. This new feature will make it easier for users to connect with their friends across multiple platforms including – mobile, Xbox and PC.
For example, Xbox users will now be able to see call participants and speakers even while playing on their console. Furthermore, users will also be allowed to adjust the volume and switch between Discord Voice and Xbox game chat while playing their favorite game.

How to enable Discord voice chat
At first, Discord mobile app users need to link their Discord account to their Xbox account to enable this feature. Users who have linked their accounts will not be considered. To get this feature, all users will have to re-link their accounts. Only then can Xbox users join any Discord channel or call and then pass it to their control panel.
