According to a report in Asset, it is unknown whether Microsoft will pay artists to perform at its gatherings. Employees have apparently complained about Microsoft having too many people attend events in Davos, where millionaires and the elite travel every year to interact and discuss important global issues.

The newspaper added that Mr Nadella had said in an email to employees on Wednesday, January 18, that some employees would be notified of job cuts that day and the payroll cuts.
