Microsoft Edge begins testing a new dedicated ‘wallet’ page to help users manage their saved cards with ease

Microsoft Edge offers pretty much every feature a user might need while browsing the Internet and includes privacy, autofill passwords, card and address details. While the browser already has a checkout function to securely store card details and use it while paying online, Microsoft seems to be working on a new dedicated page called ‘Purse‘.
Windows Latest has reported that the company has begun A/B testing of the new wallet site for edge with select US users. XDA Developers reported that the feature is also available on the latest Edge Canary and stable version 105.0.1343.27. However, no user can see that feature right now as we have also tested it thoroughly and it doesn’t appear that the feature is available. To check, just type: edge://wallet/. What is Edge Wallet?
As the name implies, the wallet section is essentially a dedicated page in the Edge browser that will allow users to store and manage their credit or debit card information along with their savings. Microsoft Rewards.
How will it help users?
Web browsers already have the option to store and use the card while paying online. However, adding a section dedicated to it brings everything together in one place. This will allow users to make payments faster and also manage them.
In addition, the wallet will be synced across devices, which means that when the card is added, the wallet will be available on all devices that have the Edge browser installed and linked to the same account.
When will it be available for other regions
As mentioned, the Wallet feature is currently rolling out in the US only. The company hasn’t revealed any details about the global rollout of the feature. However, we hope that it will launch soon.
