Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg became the second richest person in the world, beating Bezos
Mark Zuckerberg became the world’s second-richest person for the first time on Thursday, surpassing Jeff Bezos as shares of Meta Platforms Inc. continue to increase.
Zuckerberg’s bet on the metaverse β which initially looked like a giant bust β has paid off in recent months, pushing his net worth to a peak of $206.2 billion, according to Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
