Mercedes-Benz has officially wrapped up its EQE electric SUV with a range of nearly 600 km and some very impressive performance. A single electric motor on the rear axle helps the EV generate 288 hp and 565 Nm of torque. But if one opts for the EQE 350 4Matic, the dual-motor setup will help bring the torque up to 765 Nm although the range then drops to around 560 km. But there’s an even more capable variant in the form of the EQE 500 4Matic, which delivers 396 hp of maximum power and 858 Nm of peak torque. The best claimed range on this is around 550 km.

Initially, Mercedes will build the EQE SUV for the US market at its Tuscaloosa plant in Alabama from December onwards. The official launch is scheduled for some time in 2023 and pricing will also be known closer to the official launch time.
