Meghan Markle is supporting her hair stylist’s new venture
For many years, Meghan Markle was a supporter Kadi Lee, Famous colorist responsible for her chestnut brown hair. Now that support has become part of Meghan’s portfolio. On Thursday, the duchess announced that she is a supporter of Lee’s new hair care line Highbrow Hippie, and she emphasized that financial contribution when she appeared at the line’s launch party at trendy restaurant Gjelina in Los Angeles. The couple is also joined by longtime Meghan hair stylist, Serge Normant, and Lee held a bouquet of roses picked from the duchess’s garden as they posed together in the iteration.
During the event, Lee spoke about her career journey and the role her friendship with the duchess played in her business development. Meghan then jokingly emphasized how much Lee’s skills meant to her. “I was using boxed dye when I met her!” The Duchess spoke and laughed in the room.
The Duchess wore a top and pants by Khaite with shoes by Aquazzura and jewelry by Logan Hollowell’s longtime makeup artist Meghan. Daniel Martin, performer Kristin Davis, businessmen Maya Brenner, and influencers Lauren Scruggs Kennedy were also present at the launch event. On his Instagram stories, Brenner posted a video of the duchess clapping along with Martin and Normant as Lee thanked attendees and another of a gospel choir serving as the night’s entertainment.
