Dame Angela LansburyAn award-winning acting career spanning eight decades is over when she died on October 11, 2022 at the age of 96. The actress left she three kids: Anthony, Deirdreand stepchildren Davidand three grandchildren: Peter, Katherineand Ianbased on NBC News. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and her brother, the producer Edgar Lansbury. Her 53-year-old husband and father of her children, Peter Shaw19 years before her death.
Angela and Peter walked down the aisle in 1949 just three years after Angela’s divorce from Richard Cromwell, whom she married in 1945 when she was 19 and he was 34. “I have known a lot of gay people in Hollywood. Peter Shaw’s Life
Peter was born in Reading, England as Peter Pullen in 1918. He served in the British Army during the Second World War, according to LA time. After being discharged from the army, he decided to pursue acting and was signed by MGM Studios. He later became an agent and represented some of the top names in Tinseltown, such as Robert Mitchum, Katharine Hepburnand Anna Magnani. Peter and Angela have worked together on Murder, She Wrote, which he copied through his and his sons’ production company, Corymore Productions. They founded the company in 1987 after Peter worked as an assistant head of production at MGM.
He died on January 29, 2003 from congestive heart failure.

Angela thinks she and Peter have a ‘perfect’ match
“We had a perfect relationship. Not many people can say that,” Angela said wistfully Daily mail after Peter’s death. “He is everything to me: we are partners at work as well as husband and wife and lovers. I don’t know how we got a long marriagebut the simple truth was that we were devoted to each other. “
“We made all the decisions together and we helped and supported each other constantly. My career is very important to me but our children, Anthony and Deidre, always come first,” she added in a 2014 interview with the publication.
After Peter’s death, Angela told Closer Weekly that she used work to relieve her pain. “Suddenly it happened, and that special person was gone,” she explained. “I said, ‘Okay, that’s enough.
