Meagan Good finally revealed how she met and started dating Jonathan Majors.

Meagan Good Reveals How She Met Jonathan Majors
On Wednesday, July 10, PEOPLE published an exclusive interview with Good via YouTubeAbout six minutes into the interview, Good explained that she “didn’t expect to fall in love again” after her divorce from DeVon Franklin.
The 42-year-old also revealed how she and Majors met.
“We met at an event—I won’t go into that,” Good says. “But, yeah, it was just instant chemistry.”
However, Good explained that she was “not really” in the “mental state” to pursue another romance.
“And then we met again, about four months later,” she continued. “And I was like, ‘This is going to happen, this is going to happen.’ And it did.”
The actresses share their reactions to initial reports of their romance.
Good explained that there was no specific moment when she decided to go public with her relationship with Majors. Instead, “it was something that just happened.”
“We never decided we wanted to do it, it just happened naturally,” Good explains.
EQUAL Shade room As previously reported, in May 2023, it was reported that Good was spotted with Majors at the Alamo Drafthouse in Los Angeles, California. At the time, neither actor confirmed or denied the reports.
“Someone saw us somewhere going to the movies and then reported it, and we [were] like, ‘Should we shut it down?’ And I was like, ‘No, because people have a bad perception of you — a bad perception of who you date,’” Good recalls.
Good explained that Majors even tried to advise her “not to be with him.” However, she did not.
“I was like, ‘Yeah, that’s not going to happen,’” Good explained.
Ultimately, Good even shared that her affair with Majors “forced” him to appear more in public.

EQUAL Shade room As previously reported, Majors made headlines in March 2023 after his ex-girlfriend accused him of assault. The ordeal eventually ended in a trial in which the actor partly convicted of harassment and assault and sentenced to probation and counseling this early year.
Earlier this week, Good revealed that “all of my friends” encouraged me to wait until after Majors’ trial to pursue a relationship. She admitted that she wasn’t there for that idea either.
“… At the end of the day, one thing I know is that I can always look at myself in the mirror when I believe in my spirit,” she explained before adding. “… And I also want to live the life that I want to live.”
