The Mastery Retirement Fund’s annual winter call, highlighting the growth of the New York Second Chance program, has raised more than $50,000 for the group’s herd of more than 450 retired racehorses. organization thanks in part to a $25,000 grant from Business for Good. “The Thoroughbred Retirement Fund provides a life preserver for a herd of more than 450 retired racehorses across the country,” said Pat Stickney, CEO of TRF. “We have a rich history in New York and are excited to continue to grow and expand… in the state through the generosity of individual donors and this amazing endowment from Business for Good.”
