Earlier this week, Matt revealed the filming for the highly anticipated film, revealing that it was ‘good fun’.

Speaking to Variety, the star described the process of pretending to fly on an imaginary creature with wings.

“You’re using a remote control, and someone there moves it around, and then they shoot a bunch of wind and rain at you,” he said. ‘The pulse works for a living.’

Meanwhile, just weeks before HBO’s much-anticipated House of the Dragon premieres, the stars are opening up about the advice they’ve received from the original Game of Thrones stars.

Several House of the Dragon stars opened up to The Hollywood Reporter to reveal who in the original GoT cast they’ve been contacted, including Maisie Williams.

Olivia Cooke plays Lady Alicent Hightower, daughter of Ser Otto Hightower of Rhys Ifans, who serves as Hand of the King for King Viserys Targaryen (Paddy Considine).

It’s therefore no surprise that she’s linked to Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark, the daughter of Ned Stark (Sean Bean) who served as Hand of the King to King Robert Baratheon (Mark Addy) in Game of Thrones.

“Me and Maisie had a few texts – I worked with Maisie when I was 18 and she was 15, so I’ve known her for a long time,” Olivia said.

She also added that Emma D’Arcy, who plays Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, Viserys’ first child, also dined with Emilia Clarke.

She added: “Emma has gained a lot of knowledge and Emilia from what Emma has to say is truly generous.

The cast also joked that Paddy became quite ‘owned’ on the throne his character sat on, even refusing to let others sit on it.

Eve Best (Princess Rhaenys Velaryon, Viserys’ cousin) said: “Paddy was very possessive, adding that he was ‘so serious about his role that he didn’t let his co-stars sit on it. throne between shots”.

Steve Toussaint (Lord Corlys Velaryon) asserted, “It’s like his” at the show’s premiere in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

‘At one point I told him – because my character has a throne too, but it’s nowhere near that – I said, “You can sit on mine if I can sit -” and he He said, “No,” Steve added.

Olivia confirmed that Paddy was pretty ‘territorial’ with the Iron Throne, but she sat on it as soon as she saw it during rehearsals.

‘As soon as I saw the Iron Throne in rehearsals, I ran straight to it and put my ** on it. But on set, Paddy is pretty territorial, so when he’s not looking, I’ll do it quickly [sit],’ she speaks.

She added that he wouldn’t really yell at the actors for sitting in it, but, ‘It’s just an aura, just a feeling where you want, “Okay, maybe don’t go up .”
