Matt Hancock made it to the 4th round finalist I Am A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! contestant, after comedian Seann Walsh became the seventh person to be eliminated from the reality TV show.
Former health ministers, Mike Tindall, Jill Scott and Owen Warner are now racing to be king or queen of the jungle.
The West Suffolk MP has faced criticism from opposition politicians, from his own party and others. I’m a famous person contestants entered the show at a time when parliament was sitting – but Walsh spoke out in support of the former cabinet minister.
Speaking to Ant and Dec, the ITV hosts, after leaving, Walsh describes Hancock44 years old, is a “lovely guy” and says “he’s still there for a reason”.
“Nobody expected Matt Hancock to be there,” he added.
Walsh and Hancock head into the Australian woods together when they join as secret moles after other celebrities have arrived.
They then have to go on a series of missions in secret before it’s revealed that they’re scamming other campmates, earning them money.

“We were all listening to each other there,” Walsh said Friday night.
“I don’t know if that’s common in the jungle… and everyone is giving their story and there’s a lot of support and I feel like everyone’s there, not just for me, but I think we all accept each other for who we are today.”

Walsh revealed he wants former England international Scott to win the whole show.
Earlier on Friday after DJ Chris Moyles was eliminated, Hancock told the Bush Telegraph: “We’re coming to an end and I’m glad I’m still here.
“I never thought I’d make it to the final five and now I’m here, so I’m grateful.”
