News about Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the highly anticipated sequel to Insomniac Games’ Marvel Spider-Man from 2018 and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2020: Miles Moralesit’s been bright since then game reveal in 2021. But in December, PlayStation revealed that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Coming This Fall.
According to the voice actor for the Venom character in the game, Tony Todd (whom we caught a glimpse of in the game’s reveal trailer), Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 could be out this September. Curiously, Todd responded to a fan who got excited about the game and spilled beans.

Surely it sounds like information that Todd shouldn’t be divulging, doesn’t it? However, despite what you might think, Todd’s tweet is still available at the time of this writing, meaning Insomniac Games hasn’t gotten him to take it down (yet).
When people started to realize that Todd was likely to reveal the release date of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, he cheekily tweeted the following:
Now, it’s important to note that just because Todd suggests the game is coming out this September doesn’t mean it really is. We should be cautious about the official release date or release month until it comes from developer Insomniac Games. But September matches the previously revealed autumn window.
The September release date will put this big PlayStation first-party launch against Xbox’s Big First Party Launch at Starfield (September 6) so this fall can be quite busy.
