PlayStation has revealed that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will launch for PlayStation 5 next fall.
The news comes after leaks from earlier this week that suggested the game would launch on consoles in the fall of 2023. It seems those leaks are accurate. While we have a release window this fall of 2023, PlayStation hasn’t revealed a release date.
“What a year for PlayStation Studios; at Insomniac Games, we greatly admire the work of our colleagues,” Insomniac Games Creative Director Bryan Intihar wrote in an article. PlayStation blog post. “Congratulations to everyone on a successful 2022… and it’s going to be just as exciting next year as we continue to get Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 ready for release next fall.”
Not much else has been revealed about this upcoming sequel, but PlayStation says, “After the events of Marvel’s Spider-Man and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Spider-Man duo Peter Parker and Miles Morales will return in the next blockbuster action chapter of the Marvel Spider-Man franchise.”
