Marvel Snap Update Gives You A New Way To Earn Cards

A new update for Marvel Snap is now available, allowing you to purchase specific cards that may be missing from your collection. The update, that is details last week, which aims to solve the problem of feeling that getting cards is too random when you pass a certain collection level. As part of the update, you will also receive a login bonus of Tokens, the new currency used to purchase tokens.
After downloading the update, a new Token Store appears below Daily Deals in the store page. That Token Store only shows one card at a time, and it cycles every eight hours on the same schedule as your Daily quest. If you see a card you want, you can buy it with Tokens or pin it, which will hold the card in place until you save enough money to buy it.

Tokens can be obtained through opening Collector’s Caches, which start appearing as rewards on the Collection Level rewards track once you reach CL 500. There is no option to buy Tokens directly. . But since the offer rotates quite often, the developer of Second Dinner says it should be easy enough for you to find a particular card missing from your collection, you may need to build a deck that you have in mind. The card offered in the Token Store is different for each player as it caters to whatever is missing from your collection. And remember that once you purchase the base card this way, the Variant will begin to be available in the store and Collector’s Caches.
As detailed earlier, if you are above CL 500 you will get a login bonus of 3,000 Tokens. If you are above CL 1000 you will get 6,000 and if you are above CL 3000 you will get 12,000 Tokens. If you haven’t hit the CL 500 yet, don’t worry. When you reach that level you will get 3,000 Tokens bonus. The Token Store seems to remain hidden if you haven’t hit CL 500 yet, because you won’t get any Tokens to spend anyway.
Speaking of purchases, the update also added a new way to spend your gold. The Cyber Holiday Bundle costs a whopping 7,500 Gold and will be available for the next three weeks or so. It is themed after a Kim Jacinto card Variation of the Apocalypse and comes with a matching Avatar, 3000 Tokens, 9500 Credits and 155 Doomsday boosters. For reference, a pack of 8,000 Gold costs $100 if you buy it from the Gold store, so unless you’ve been saving your Gold for a long time, you’ll end up paying a pretty penny. .

The update also comes with several new card packs, including new Series 4 and Series 5 cards. Those are orders of magnitude rarer than the Series 3 set that used to include all of the cards on the CL 500, so they’re less likely to appear. But Second Dinner is planning to move the cards down to Series sets to make them more accessible as time goes on. The community has nicknamed these decks “Pools” instead of Series, but the two terms are interchangeable.
