Maruti Suzuki reveal what is expected Jimmy 5 Doors at Auto Expo 2023. Pre-orders for the off-road vehicle have been in progress since its unveiling at the Expo on January 12, and Maruti has collected over 15,000 pre-orders for Jimny.

The Jimny 5-Door is expected to go on sale in May of this year and will be retailed through Maruti Nexa dealers. There are a total of 4 variants, Maruti Suzuki is likely to prioritize the production of the higher Alpha variant.
Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5-door: powertrain, off-road equipment details
The 5-door Jimny is equipped with a 1.5-liter K15B gasoline engine, with a capacity of 105 horsepower combined with a standard 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission. As for Jimny’s off-road equipment, it was Suzuki AllGrip Pro 4WD system with manual transmission and low range transmission with ‘2WD-high’, ‘4WD-high’ and ‘4WD-low’ modes. Jimny is also underpinned by a sturdy ladder chassis.
Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5-door: variants and features
Jimny is only available in two versions – Zeta and Alpha – of which the latter has bells and whistles, including automatic headlights, SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system and Arkayms audio system.
