The recall affects devices manufactured between August 8 and November 15, 2022.

Maruti Suzuki issued a recall order of more than 11,000 units of Grand Vitara manufactured between August 8, 2022 and November 15, 2022. The recall is likely due to a possible defect in the rear seat belt holder.

In a regulatory filing filed with the Bombay Stock Exchange, Maruti Suzuki announced that it will be recalling 11,177 of its flagship SUVs due to rear seat belt holders that, in rare cases, may become loose for a long time and affect its function. The company also mentioned that its workshops will contact owners of the affected models to inspect and replace parts free of charge.
