Maruti Suzuki Fronx: Variant Features Explained
Maruti Suzuki are aggressively expanding their SUV lineup. There was a time when they only had Brezza. However, they now have Brezza and Grand Vitara and they will be rolling out Jimny and Fronx soon. While everyone is hyping for Jimny, it is expected that fronx will be the most affordable compact SUV in Maruti’s lineup.

The manufacturer has yet to launch the Fronx in the Indian market but the variants and what features they will offer have been revealed. It will be offered in five variants. There’s Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta, and Alpha.
Maruti Suzuki Fronx: Exterior
The exterior of the Fronx looks like a smaller version of the Grand Vitara. So those who can’t afford the Grand Vitara can buy the Fronx. At the front, there is a split headlight setup. The two sides of the car are alloy wheels, square wheel arches with black plastic cladding and a sloping roofline. At the rear, there are LED taillights with light bars connecting the two.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx: Interior
The interior of the Fronx is like a miniature version of the Grand Vitara. It has a flat-bottomed steering wheel, the same instrument cluster with multi-info display, a touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, etc. The cabin also has a two-tone theme for the look. higher level.
Maruti Suzuki Fronx: Engine and transmission
The Fronx will be offered in two engine options. There is a 1.2 liter unit borrowed from Baleno. This engine produces 88 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and maximum torque of 113 Nm. It comes with a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT transmission. Then there is the BoosterJet 1.0 liter engine producing 98 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and maximum torque of 147 Nm. It is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
