Maruti Suzuki updated it Ecological MPV line and has equipped it with a 1.2-liter K-series engine, replacing the old 1.2-liter G-series engine. The Eeco also has new features such as a digital instrument cluster similar to the Celerio and S-Presso and an engine immobilizer.

Maruti Suzuki Eeco: new powertrain
Maruti Suzuki streamlined its engine lineup before implementing a new, stricter set of emissions regulations – the Actual Driving Emissions (RDE). Brand will unplug on Alto 800 and 796cc . engine, only see tasks on a single model. Similarly, the 1.2-liter G-series engine, which was only found on the Eeco, is also being phased out in favor of the newer 1.2-liter K-series DualJet, which produces 81 hp and 104.4 lb-ft. Nm
In CNG mode, the engine produces 72 hp and 95 Nm of torque. The only transmission offered is a five-speed manual.
Maruti Suzuki claims that the updated Eeco delivers 19.71 kpl fuel efficiency in petrol-only mode, up from the 16.11 kpl achieved in the outgoing engine. Meanwhile, the S-CNG variants deliver fuel efficiency of 26.78kg/km, up from 20.88kg/km.
Tour V variants benefit from a slight increase in fuel efficiency, where petrol-only mode delivers 20.20kpl and in CNG mode it delivers 27.05kg/km.
Maruti Suzuki Eeco: new features
The updated Eeco has a new digital steering wheel and instrument cluster; both are now shared with other Maruti models such as the S-Presso and Celerio. The AC controller is also a new rotary controller that replaces the slide controller. In addition, the Cerulean Blue exterior paint color has been replaced with a new Metallic Brisk Blue color. In addition, Eeco Cargo variants now have an additional 60 liters of cargo space.
Maruti Suzuki Eeco: rival
The Eeco, at this price point, remains a simple MPV even without power steering on any variant. The Renault Triber is the only three-row MPV that comes close to it at this price and size, but is better equipped and more spacious.
