After a long wait, Maruti Suzuki India Limited finally decided to bring Jimny to the Indian market. It was first introduced at Auto Expo 2023 with a 5-door avatar and is expected to launch in India soon. It has been confirmed that Jimny will be sold through Nexa dealers. Now, Maruti Jimny has been spotted in Blueish Black paint.
The Jimny was spotted in Shimla with a red number plate, the manufacturer may be doing some altitude testing before launching the car on the market. There is also another possibility that this Jimny will go to a dealer for display purposes. It is important to note that some dealers have already started recommending Maruti Suzuki Jimny so people can check in live.
Maruti Jimny can also be seen with Thar In the short clip, it is clear that it is Thar who is on the road more. This is mainly due to its size. Mahindra Thar rides on larger 18-inch wheels while Jimny uses 15-inch wheels. Although the length of both SUVs is the same, the Thar is wider and taller than the Jimny. In addition to Thar, Jimny will also oppose the Gurkha Forces.

Powering the Maruti Suzuki Jimny is a naturally aspirated, 4-cylinder, 1.5-liter gasoline engine. It makes 102 hp and 138 Nm. It will come with a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission. There will only be two variants offered, Zeta and Alpha. Both variants will be offered with manual and automatic transmissions.

In addition to the bluish Black seen here, the Jimny will be offered in Nexa Blue, Kinetic Gold, Arctic Pearl White, Sizzling Red, Granite Gray and Sizzling Red with a Blue Black hood.
