Married At First Sight’s businessman Cameron opens up about fatherhood

Married At First Sight businessman Cameron and wife Jules Robinson welcomed their son Oliver into the world in September 2020.
And on Thursday, the father of one, 38, revealed about becoming a father in an exclusive interview with Daily Mail Australia ahead of Father’s Day on Sunday.
‘I don’t think parenting gets any easier over time. I think you just have to get better at it that’s what I feel,’ Merchant confessed.

Cam explained that he and Jules, 40, have a strict rule about being open and transparent about communicating their feelings as parents.
“I think this is so important in parenting, we’re very open to how we’re feeling and what’s going on in our heads,” he continued.

The former cricketer added that he’s not afraid to tell Jules when he’s feeling frustrated, overwhelmed or ask when he needs a little help.
Cam also talks about how he has created his own Father’s Day tradition with his family.
‘I’m going to see my dad in the morning and we’ll have the same breakfast. I have a bit of a tradition of picking him Cadbury because he’s a huge fan. ‘

Cam and Jules is one of the few success stories of Married At First Sight.
They legally married in a televised ceremony on A Current Affair in November 2019 and welcomed their son, Ollie Chase, in September 2020.
