On Friday, June 14, the 51-year-old took to Instagram to post photos from an LGBTQ+ themed photo shoot. The actor made four separate posts.
For the first time, he wore a baseball cap with a rainbow around the brim and hung a rainbow flag over his shoulder. The scriptwriter annotated it, “Happy PRIDE to all my LGBTQ+ people.” Besides, Marlon clarify that he was “straight” and simply show love to the community. Several commenters left negative statements under his post, including one man, @mossimock, who wrote: “Lmao unfollow.”
The second post shows Wayans sitting on the floor with rainbow-colored balls surrounding him. In the caption, Marlon addressed the judgment social media is making, writing, “Yeah and just for THOSE EXPECTING HATE….I’m making another post.”
“As the father of an LGBTQ+ child, I show my support. It’s not what people think,” Marlon said.
He also gave information to people who said they had unfollowed deuces. Marlon stated, “If I lose you… GOOD. Your hateful bastard never loved me in the first place. How can you love someone when you’re too busy judging. Some of you are so funny. I’m a troll. I will post all day.”
He ended the message with “Happy pride to all my friends, family, fans and loved ones. I’m glad you’re happy… period.”
EVERYBODY reported that Marlon spoke about his eldest child coming out as transgender on ‘The Breakfast Club’ in November 2023. He said, “I have a daughter who has transitioned into a boy. My daughter Amai is now Kai.”
Wayans talked about handling change during that time. “My transition as a parent went from ignorance and denial to completely unconditional love and acceptance,” said the ‘Sweet Teeth’ actor.
