Marlon Vera KOs Dominick Cruz in UFC on ESPN main event 41

The next round will see Vera end the show with a sensational header that knocks Cruz out.

Landwehr beat Brawl against Onama

The co-main event saw featherweight lifters Nate Landwehr and David Onama conflict.

Looks like Landwehr (10-2) was in for a long night after eating a big right hand from Onama (16-4) in the first round. However, after stepping back and taking out some damage hits, the Landwehr will reverse position and survive the dangerous first frame. Despite taking damage, Landwehr is a fresher fighter and can keep fighting, getting ahead and taking control of his opponents. The Landwehr would continue its attack in the final round but fanfare allowed Onama to land for a few moments and regroup late.

After 15 minutes, the referees gave Landwehr a decisive victory with a score of 28-28, 29-27 and 29-27.

Jauregui outperforms Lucindo

It was a positive debut for the Octagon for the straw weight class Yazmin Jauregui.
