Mapoésie wins DHL Talent Mode International Prize 2022 edition

The winning label of the 2022 edition of the DHL Talent Mode International Awards was revealed on Saturday, January 21 at the Who’s Next trade show in Paris.. Mapoésie, the label founded by French designer Elsa Poux 13 years ago, has been selected among six finalists. ​Contest organized by DHL Shown France in collaboration with the French Women’s Ready-to-wear Federation (FFPAPF). Mapoésie will expand its knitwear collection by introducing jacquard pants, will launch a new line of outdoor rugs, available from February, and will also present a household linen license at Maison & Objet in Paris.

These two novelties will enhance the brand’s lifestyle range, as Mapoésie is keen to introduce more of its avant-garde line of decorative objects. Mapoésie’s Paris store, which opened six years ago at 69 rue du Chemin-Vert, will undergo a pre-summer refurbishment to offer a large line of rugs. By relocating its offices, Mapoésie will in fact add a retail space of 60 square meters. In parallel, on Tuesday 10 January, the label inaugurated a new Paris showroom at 25 rue de la Fontaine-au-Roi, one kilometer from its main address.

Mapoésie is commercialized by 160 retailers in France, including La Maison Générale in Saint-Germain.maloalso sells ready-to-wear clothing and accessories at museum stores, such as the Louisiana museum in Denmark. Next Next summer, Mapoésie’s colorful scarf collection will be available at MoMA, New York’s renowned museum of contemporary art.

Mapoésie has decided to participate in the DHL Talent Mode International Awards to drive expansion internationally, in Europe and beyond. The label has strong export potential thanks to its e-retail website, worldwide distribution and its active commercial presence in the wholesale channel. Mapoésie attracts international customers and retailers at many of the trade shows Mapoésie participates in, such as Mode in France in Seoul and Cabana Beach in Miami.
