Manasa Varanasi is now MakeSoil’s Ambassador to India!

Former Miss India Manasa Varanasi has begun her journey to do her bit to save the planet and has thus joined forces with MakeSoil – Global Terrain Initiative.

Taking to Instagram to announce the news, Manasa wrote, “Out of curiosity and purpose I partnered with @makesoil to reinvent the planet! The truth is that most of the food and nutrients we get from the soil are wasted in landfills. Nature has a loving nurturing cycle, and we are breaking it. But we can change this. By the simple act of turning our food waste into living soil, we give meaning to life.”

In a video post, Manasa is seen interacting with MakeSoil founder Mr. Josh Whitton and later make sure she imparts her newly learned knowledge to her fans and followers. As MakeSoil’s Ambassador in India, Manasa shared what inspired her to give her voice to this initiative. “As long as I can remember. I am extremely curious about the planet, and I love discovering new ways in which I can serve and connect with the deeper world around me. So this is how I save the planet; I had to say, Let’s team up,” she said, and further imparted her learning experience. Manasa added, “Almost all the food that we eat today, all the nutrients that we get from the soil. Not only are they wasted, but they end up in landfills, where they are converted into methane and other greenhouse gases. And this is terribly wrong for the food system. Almost all of the food we eat relies heavily on pesticides and fertilizers, and this is wrong; it needs to change; We need healthy soil. In fact, over the past few months, I’ve been composting myself, and I’ve seen every banana peel, every tea bag, and countless other items left over from my meals turned into living soil, and This is so powerful.”

The beautiful queen has always shown a genuine passion for all her social initiatives, and once again, the queen emphasizes the need for more land locations in India. “I started learning a few months ago, and I can personally tell you in person that this is super possible, very doable, and I really hope that more and more of you join me in this style. This movement if you are someone who has composed, then great. Share your gift, become a tiller and add your website to the Tillage site. But if you don’t know how, that’s totally fine, you can go to the website and we’re all here to learn,” she concluded.
