Man tries ‘walk of death’ in Dorset with only his trainer before he bottled it

This is the heart-stopping moment of a man trying to perform a ‘walk of death’ on a cliff before bottling.

Paul Brown, Cleveland Browns fan and eponymous as the founder and original coach of the United States soccer team, had to die after trying to trudge along the edge of the chalk cliffs at Old Harry Rocks near Swanage, Dorset.

The YouTuber had already made it to the point where only the coach and an American football kit remained before he froze and started inching away from the vertical rock face.

The footage, shot by an online vlogger, zooms in on the rocky terrain of the cliffs and shows a 160-foot drop on either side.

The podcaster then squats down for strength and slowly turns around before getting up and heading inland.

He could be heard saying ‘okay, I don’t like that’ to two of his friends, who sat behind him and watched him attempt the impressive feat.

Mr Brown said the road ‘looks steeper than it looks’.

Although Mr Brown is one of many daredevils to have accomplished the impressive feat, several visitors have nearly died on the steep cliffs.

One user responded to the horror footage on Twitter: ‘Watch you walk by!’ accompanied by a moving image of a man drenched in terror.

One verified account said: ‘that’s crazy’ before another tweeted ‘be careful. I couldn’t do it and I skydived twice. ‘

In 2017, a woman in her 30s suffered minor injuries after plunging from a cliff into the sea below.

And two men in 2021, two ‘stupid’ men playing Russian roulette with their futures after they peered over the edge of a 120ft cliff.
