Man pleads guilty to assaulting Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale during match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in January | UK News

A man has admitted assaulting Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale during a game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier this year.

Ramsdale, 24, started right after Arsenal beat Tottenham 2-0 in a Premier League match on January 15.

On Friday, Joseph Watts appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates Court to plead guilty to assault by beating.

The 35-year-old from Dalston in Hackney, east London, also admitted to going to an area adjacent to the game area and throwing a rocket at the soccer field.

He also threw four coins towards the yard, the court was told.
